1. Select Tools > MS Project Export.
2. Enter a name for the project.
3. Type the Author name.
4. Insert the Company name.
5. Select the Start radio button.
6. Type the date or select the appropriate date using the calendar.
7. Select the Finish radio button.
8. Enter the Finish date by typing it or selecting it from the calendar icon.
9. If you wish to Export Folders as Summary Tasks, place a checkmark in the appropriate checkbox.
10. Click the Create MS Project file.
11. The project will export and you will be prompted to Save the file.
12. Choose the location and click Save.
13. Click Open.
14. The file should display similar to the example below.
